As those of us here are no doubt aware, the skullduggery lives on, and the propaganda continues to pour down upon us… It may take a new shape; a slightly different shade, but in one form or another, the deluge persists and seems only to increase in intensity and gather speed… The bright side of this is that there is no shortage of material to inspire content and bring to life a new song… More than enough material, in fact, to inspire an entire new album—which is what I am working towards…
I hope this new collection may spur a sense of solidarity, as well as satisfaction, and perhaps a spark of fun—much needed in these times…

The Hush of Heaven holds my heart today
Looking back, I can see how seemingly disparate experiences were leading up to the fusion of both traits. And when an outlet for the tumultuous emotions, stirred by a harsh awakening – that had hit so many of us – had to be channelled, the songs poured forth… At times, like a torrent. At others, like a rhythmic birthing; not always easy, but unstoppable. I am ever grateful for this vital means of release. The flow has not yet stopped, and continues to this day.
